DIY Lavender Sachet

If you’ve ever purchased jewelry from me (or other jewelers), you may have a few little drawstring bags laying around. If you’re like me, you collect them in your jewelry box - you can’t toss them out… but they don’t necessarily have a purpose. Well, that’s about to change - Let’s use them to make some lavender sachets together!

Supplies

  • Cloth jewelry bags

  • Dried lavender

  • A small bowl

instructions

  1. Pick some lavender to dry (or find already dried lavender). If you don’t have access to lavender, you can use a few drops of essential oils on some cotton balls!

  2. Crumble the dried purple lavender buds into a small bowl - don’t forget to smell your fingers after this step!

  3. Gather all those cute little jewelry bags you’ve been collecting for years and pour the lavender into the bags. Draw the strings tight and tie a knot to create a loop.

  4. You can hang the sachet over a hanger in your closet, or place in your dresser drawers, or hang it from the rear view mirror in your car! Breath deeply and enjoy the calming fragrance.
