Secret garden Collection
I drew inspiration from one of my very favorite stories: The Secret Garden. It’s a story of life bursting forth despite circumstances, finding healing in nature… in the garden, and of creating something beautiful when all seems lost.
With petals made of hammered brass, these earrings reflect the shape of the Bird of Paradise flower. The baroque pearl elevates the elegant simplicity of these earrings.
I design each brass shape then a small company in Portland, Oregon uses a waterjet to custom cut each piece for me.

Inspired by the elongated leaves of the Curtain Creeper (or Vernonia elliptica), I shape and solder each bangle into a beautiful, organic shape.
Each Vernonia Bangle is handmade and may vary slightly from the photos.

Inspired by the elongated leaves of the Curtain Creeper (or Vernonia elliptica), I shape and solder each ring into a beautiful, organic shape. The Vernonia Ring is made to order. Because it is custom made for you, it may vary slightly from the photos.

The Secret Garden is a story of hope and belonging. When all seems bleak, when hope eludes, when we feel lost and alone, when we’ve experienced loss… that’s when we find our way into the garden. Beyond the gate lies a sleeping world about to burst to life. Healing begins. We dare to hope again. In the garden we find belonging. There was something sleeping below the surface, and it has awoken once again!
The story of The Secret Garden captured my heart as a little girl. If you’ve never read (or watched) the story, I highly recommend it! It was written in 1911 by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I recently read the book and watched the movie again (for the 500th time!) and I can honestly say I loved and resonated with it more than ever. It is timeless.
