Jewelry Box Best Practices
Here are a few tips to keep your jewelry box (and jewelry) it tip top shape!
Every year or so comb through your jewelry and donate any pieces that you no longer wear or are ready to part with.
Repair any broken pieces. (Depending on the jewelry, I may be able to help! Just email me a photo and I’ll see what I can do!
Polish any tarnished pieces using silver polish of a polishing pad (available at most craft stores).
Save any silica packets you have and add them to your jewelry box. This will help absorb moisture and slow down tarnishing. Replace them every six months or so.
Add a little dish of earring backs to your jewelry box so that they are easy to grab when needed!
I hope you found these tips helpful! I’d love to hear about anything you do to keep your jewelry neat and tidy!
