Banana Bread

The thing I love about banana bread (besides the delicious and comforting flavor) is that you never have to worry about buying too many bananas - once they start to over-ripen, you just peel and freeze them until you’re in the mood to bake!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cups Flour

  • 1 tsp Baking Soda

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 1/2 Cup (1 Stick) Butter - Softened

  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1/2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract

  • About 5 Overripe Bananas

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.

In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt then set aside.

In another, larger bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar then mix in the eggs, vanilla and bananas. Add in the flour mixture and combine, but don’t over mix.

Pour batter into greased and floured 9x5 loaf pan

Bake for 1 hour
