Daun is Indonesian for leaf.
These earrings are made of hammered metal and resemble the wide fronds of the Umbrella Leaf Palm of Indonesia. The hammered metal goes through a patina process that gives each piece an ancient feeling and timeless beauty.
I design each brass shape then a small company in Portland, Oregon uses a waterjet to custom cut each piece for me.
Materials: Brass, antique bronze colored ear wires (nickel free)
